NPFL Update: Tosin Omoyele Quits Katsina United

Barely 48 hours after the completion of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Katsina United forward Tosin Omoyele has announced his departure from the club, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The former El Gouna of Egypt forward joined Katsina United on a short-term deal after his mutual contract termination with Enyimba International earlier in the season.

Despite the club relegation, Omoyele was able to distinguish himself with an amazing performance coupled with goals.

The club was relegated on the final matchday of the season after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Wikki Tourist of Bauchi.

"The past two years in my career have made me a better player than what I used to be.

"From Enyimba to Katsina United, the experience has been good with lots of memories and lessons.

"Now, it’s time to move ahead to another club (s) and hope for the best. 

"Thank you for your support," he said.
