NPFL Update: Victory Over Sporting Lagos In Derby Thrills Bankole

The goalkeeper of Nigeria Premier Football League club Remo Stars Kayode Bankole has expressed his excitement over their victory over the newly promoted side Sporting Lagos in the Southwest Derby, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After sitting out the game against Bayelsa United on Matchday 3, Bankole returned to the lineup and he was instrumental in his club's 2-1 win in Ikenne.

He reacted to the result of the game via his social media handle and quickly shifted attention to the reverse fixture.

" Vïctory feeling, we secured the bragging right in the Southwest derby, Thank God.

"We will meet again Sporting Lagos", he said.

The Sky Blue Boys has now secured 2 consecutive victories in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
