NPFL Update: We Need To Be More Consistent - Fatai Osho

The coach of the Nigeria Premier Football League side Akwa United Fatai Osho has said they needed to be more consistent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Promise Keepers returned to winning ways on Sunday with a narrow 1-0 win against Lobi Stars in Eket.

While speaking after the game, Osho hailed the players for their hard work and commitment.

"This victory is inspiring because for some time now we have been playing well but results were not forthcoming and it was frustrating.

 What we picked today against Lobi Stars is encouraging because we want to sustain this tempo in subsequent matches,” Osho told the club’s media after the game.

“It’s not just about winning this game at home, we have to be more consistent because that is the only way we can swim out of where we are on the log. We have to go for points away from home.

“I’m really impressed with my players’ performance in this game but we know that we still have some work to do to ensure we win our games not just at home but also when we play away from home”.
