NPFL Update: We'll Continue To Improve As The League Progresses - Babanganaru

After leading the team to a comfortable victory, Mohammed Babanganaru the technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League side Gombe United has said the team will continue to improve as the league progresses, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Gombe United on Sunday defeated the league reigning champions Enyimba International 2-0 on Matchday 2 of the league.

The former Kano Pillars manager praised the effort of the players and he further appreciated the fans for their tremendous support.

 â€œIf you look at the team, it’s entirely a new team, most of the players of last season have left. 

We also started very late. I believe the team will improve in the course of the league.”

To be sincere, I really appreciate the support of the fans. They are very cooperative they gave us maximum cooperation from the end", he said.

Gombe United will be the guest of Shooting Stars on Matchday 3.
