NPFL Update:Goal Against Remo Stars Means A Lot To Me - Andy Okpe

Rivers United attacker Andy Okpe has stated that the goal he scored on Thursday against Remo Stars meant a lot to him, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The skilful forward represented Remo Stars last season and decided to join the Pride of Rivers this season.

The lanky attacker got the much-needed goal late in the second half to seal the hope of the Sky Blue Boys getting anything from the game.

While reacting to the game, Okpe said they needed the win to reverse the defeat they suffered last weekend in Kaduna.

" I'm very happy to score and the goal means a lot to me, I fought till my last breath to get the goal because we have to reverse the loss we suffered last weekend.

"Though it wasn't easy but I had to fight and help the team to get positive results because Rivers United is about winning", he said.
