NPFL Youth League: Agaadi Confident of Lobi Stars Youth Team

The head coach of the Lobi Stars U-17 team, Japheth Agaadi has expressed confidence in the team he assembled ahead of the NPFL U17 playoff slated to kick off early next month in Lafia, BSNSports.com.ng reports

Speaking shortly after his side’s 1-0 victory over Zeal Minds FC at Tse Poor in Makurdi, the calm-speaking coach said he is optimistic about pulling surprises with the squad assembled at the playoff venue.

“When I arrived here to start this project, I met young future stars with an abundance of talents and work became easy for us our selection throughout the screening period has been of merit I am optimistic of getting positive results at the end of the playoff.”

The only goal of the match came through Sughnen Aku in the opening minutes of the first half which eventually separated the two teams.

The tie further marked the end of their preparation as they would be proceeding to the playoff venue in a few days. Already the fixtures of the playoffs have been released by the league authorities with Lobi Stars youth squaring up against Kwara United youth side for the curtain-raiser on the 1st of February 2024.
