NPFL Youth Team Camp Opens In Abeokuta With Friendly

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Youth Team has commenced its camping activities in Abeokuta, Ogun State with a friendly game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Recall that the NPFL Youth League, led by its Director, Dominic Iorfa, had concluded the 2024/2025 NPFL Youth Championship amongst the 20 clubs, which held in 3 zones/centres in the country including; Ikenne, Isiala-Ngwa and Kano respectively.
Meanwhile, 70 players were selected by qualified scouts during the games for 2 weeks camping in Ogun State from 4th to 17th October, 2025 where their abilities will be further put to test for a final selection of 20 players that will form the NPFL Youth Team.
In a closed door friendly, Eugene Agagbe's NPFL Youth Team recorded a commanding and historic 5-3 win against Amazing Boys FC.
Responding to a post match interview, Agagbe expressed confidence in the team's performance, though insisted there is room for improvement.
Tomorrow, the lads will have another match at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta in a bid to identify exceptional players and enhance their technical abilities to excel further in their careers in partnership with 1 Nil Sports Management.
