NPFL2025: ‘I’m More Experienced Now Than During My First Stint With Enyimba – Eguma
Newly appointed Enyimba head coach, Stanley Eguma has said he is returning to a “familiar terrain”. BSNSports.com.ng report.
Stanley Eguma was appointed as the new coach of the People’s Elephants following the sacking of Yemi Olanrewaju on Saturday over poor form of the team.
The 62-year-old has once worked as an assistant coach at Enyimba years back and returned as the new coach on Saturday.
Eguma before joining Enyimba won titles with Dolphins,and Rivers United before joining Enyimba.
“Don’t forget I’ve been here before, back in 2004, when we won the CAF Champions League title,” he said after his unveiling.
“So I can conveniently say that I’m returning to a familiar terrain.”
Eguma will take charge of his first game when Enyimba hosts Bendel Insurance in Aba on Tuesday the last day of the 2024.
Eguma is looking forward to returning the team to winning ways after winless run in their last nine games across all competitions.
