NPFL24 : Legbara Feels Satisfied Over Gombe United Victory Against Insurance

Gombe United midfielder, Barry Legbara has expressed his satisfaction over the side performance in their 1-0 home win over Bendel Insurance in a Matchday 4 encounter on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The encounter which was held at the Pantami Stadium, saw the Babaganaru-led side secure the maximum points through a 51st minutes strike by Ahmed Jimoh. 

While speaking in an exclusive interview on Tuesday with BSNSports.com.ng, Legbara expressed that it was a good performance by the side and was glad that they secured the maximum points. 

" We played against one of the big side in the league," Legbara said. 

"Because it was a tough game, but at the end we were able to secure the maximum points, which was important for us." 

The former Lobi Stars man praised Insurance for making it a good game for the side, revealled that it is not easy to beat a side that played unbeaten last season until the defeat on Sunday. 

" Yes, to play a side that didn't lost any match last season was not that easy, we put in every effort in all area to get it done, so it was a vital win for us," he concludes. 

Gombe United will be welcoming Plateau United, on Sunday, in a Matchday 5 encounter, at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe.
