NPFL24: Abia Warriors Depart Umuahia For Sunshine Stars Clash on Wednesday

Abia Warriors FC left Umuahia on Tuesday morning ahead of their Matchday 6 Midweek clash against Sunshine Stars on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Erasmus Onuh-led side, who secured a vital 1-0 win over Heartland FC, in an Oriental Derby on Sunday are currently on their way to Akure for the clash. 

The encounter will be played at the Akure Sports Complex Stadium, Ondo State, with Abia Warriors still yet to pick a point in their first two away games so far this season. 

However, against Sunshine Stars, who suffered a dramatic 3-2 defeat to Katsina United last Sunday, would be coming back with a hope of bouncing back to winning ways. 

However, Abia Warriors are coming into the game after they picked three points against Heartland FC, which will give the team a morale boost going into the game on Wednesday.
