Abia Warriors made a winning return as they secured their fourth straight home win of the season, with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Katsina United, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The encounter was a Matchday 7 fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), which is played at the Umuahia Township Stadium. 

The Erasmus Onuh-led side took an early lead inside the 11th minute through a delightful free kick from Ibrahim Dehinde. Before he doubled the lead 10 minutes later after he scored from a close range, as Warriors went into the halftime break with a 2-0 lead. 

In the second half, Tony Bolus made adjustments to his team as they came out differently. 

The visitors dominated the possession of the game and finally pulled a goal back 2-1 after Azeez Falolu headed home a delightful cross in the 86th minute. 

However, Abia Warriors defended their box in numbers as they secured a late 2-1 victory. 

Erasmus Onuh would be a bit worried about his side's performance in the second half but will take the win and the three points to the next game. While Katsina United, with the way they performed in the second half was encouraged by Tony Bolus, who thought that his side deserved at least a point in the game.
