NPFL24: Injury Stops Enyimba's Awaize From Doma United, Lobi Stars Clashes

Enyimba FC forward, Awaize Ekene will be out of action for the next two weeks due to an injury he suffered during the Matchday 7, 1-0 home win against Kwara United, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The pacy forward, who was not part of the squad in last Sunday's Matchday 8, 1-0 defeat to Kano pillars, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, will be expected to be out of action for the next two weeks due to injury. 

The former FC Ifeanyiubah man will miss the Doma United clash tomorrow and also the Matchday 9 home encounter against league leaders, Lobi Stars this weekend in Aba.

It would come as a big blow for Awaize, who has started the campaign as one of Finidi George's trusted players in the squad as they fight to defend the league title this season.
