NPFL24: Katsina United Performance Against Rivers United Excites Bolus

Katsina United head coach, Tony Bolus has expressed that he is excited over the team's performance in a 1-0 home win over Rivers United, on Sunday, in a Matchday 8 encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Mansoor Saleh's 46th-minute strike was enough to help Katsina United secure a massive three points, at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium. 

While speaking in an exclusive interview on Monday, with BSNSports.com.ng, Bolus revealed that it was a good test for his team, but still glad that they won the game.

"It was a good test for us, " Bolus told BSNSports. 

"We played against a very good side (Rivers United), but we were able to stop them in the game."

"The boys played according to the team instructions and were determined to win by the way they performed," he explained. 

The former MFM FC and Vandrezzer FC gaffer also expressed hope over his team's chance ahead of the Matchday 9 away trip to Awka to take on Rangers International, saying that they will be playing to win the game.

" Yes, we have beliefs in our team, because they are not playing better than us, no matter the positions in the log.

"So, we always have a plan in mind on how we want to play even in away games. I truly have belief in my team and what we can achieve," Bolus concludes.
