NPFL24: NPFL Board To Deny Clubs Seeking For Fixtures Reschedule

The organisers of the Nigeria Premier Premier League (NPFL) Board has revealed that they will deny clubs seeking for fixtures rearrangement, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

According to the statement released by the Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, stated that the the management would no longer be accepting requests from the clubs for fixture rescheduling. 

" We are beginning to give a poor impression to our partners and the general public that the NPFL lacks fixtures fidelity due to frequent change of scheduled matchdays, " Owumi said. 

" This is not helping the perception of the league as serious and stable brand."

" All clubs are hereby notified that there would be no basis (be it logistics or unavailablity of stadium due to state function etc). to entertain further requests for fixture changes except for strictly football reason such as international engagement," he concludes.
