NPFL24: Ogunbote Optimistic Of Victory Against Lobi Stars

Gbenga Ogunbote has expressed optimism that Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan will get the maximum points against Lobi Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The 'Yes Father Boys' will host Nigeria Premier Football League giant, 3SC of Ibadan on Sunday in the NPFL Matchday 10 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa State.  

Ogunbote said he would utilise the advantage of having former Lobi Stars players like Douglas Achiv and Otakho Aghahowa to get a decent result in Lafia. 

Speaking with newsmen in Lafia, Ogunbote said that "We have to respect Lobi Stars because of their achievement this season.

"It is an added advantage to have players who had previously played for Lobi Stars as it might play to our advantage. We will definitely make our fans and the government of Oyo state proud."

Both teams have accumulated 17 points from the same number of games played so far, with the Pride of Benue having a goal advantage over the Oluyole Warriors.

The 'Yes Father Boys' will be excited to return to their adopted home; the Lafia City Stadium, where they have maintained four matches of unbeaten run.
