NPFL24: Remo Stars Forward Hopeful For Win Against Gombe United

Remo Stars forward, Isaac James has revealed that the team will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways against Gombe United on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The clash which is a Matchday 8 encounter, of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with the game taking place at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

The Daniel Ogunmodede-led side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Bendel Insurance, in a Matchday 7 encounter last Sunday as they hope to return to winning ways to close the gap on table toppers Lobi Stars.

While speaking in an exclusive interview, on Friday with BSNSports.com.ng, Isaac expressed that the team is ready ahead of the clash with Gombe United.

" We're positive and ready, we will not allow the defeat from the last match to weigh us down," Isaac told BSNSports.

"We are positive ahead of the match against Gombe United come Sunday."

The forward, who has not played enough minutes so far this season due to injuries, says that he will keep on working on his fitness in other to make the team.

" I’ve been working so hard to get back on my feet as regards match fitness after returning from injury, but I will keep on working hard to make the team but I still believe that I will play more games this season, " he concludes.
