NPFL24: Rivers United, Remo Stars Reschuleded Matchday 1 Clash Holds Wednesday

The reschuleded Matchday 1 encounter between former champions Rivers United and Remo Stars will be played this wednesday, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 1 clash involving both teams was been postponed due to the Pride of Rivers' involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.

With that in mind, the game will now go ahead on Wednesday, as the Stanley Eguma led side still looking for their first win of the season after they suffered a defeat to Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.

Last weekend, Remo Stars came back from behind to beat Rangers International 2-1, in a Matchday 2 encounter, at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
