NPFL24:Abarah Encouraged By Tornadoes Performance In 2-1 Loss To Rangers

Niger Tornadoes head coach, Hamza Abarah has revealed that he is encouraged by the performance of his players, in their 2-1 defeat to Rangers International, on Sunday, in a Matchday 3 encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Gideon Obaje scored the match winner for the Flying Anteoples, at the Awka City Stadium, as Tornadoes suffered yet another defeat on the road, in the Nigeria Premier Football League(NPFL) season. 

While speaking with the Niger Tornadoes FC Media crew, shortly after the encounter, Abarah however commended the players for an improved performance in the second half.

"The early goal we conceded was demoralising,” he told Niger Tornadoes media.

“Though the players came back strong in the second half, my relationship with Fidelis showed in the game.

“We both know each other, that’s why the game was balanced in the second half.”

Niger Tornadoes dropped to 17th position on the table following the defeat, and will face Bayelsa United in a Matchday 4 encounter this weekend.
