NPFL24:Obi Expects Great Response From Abia Warriors Against Kano Pillars

Abia Warriors Forward, Samson Obi has revealed that the team will work hard to achieve all three points against Kano Pillars, on Sunday, in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 3 encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The clash which will take centre stage at the Umuahia Township Stadium, as the Erasmus Onuh-led side go for maximum points against Pillars. 

Samson who was pivotal to his team first game win against Niger Tornadoes, said, a win against the Sai Masu Gida side is a priority.

He mentioned that, his target is to score goals for the Abia state side.

“All I want for the team is just the three points, a win for us is all that matters."

“My target this season is to give my best in every game. I want to score goals and record wins with the team."

On his return to the Nigeria with the Abia state side, the former Enyimba prolific forward said, everything has been working well with him.

“So far all all has been good, I thank God for everything” he added.

Against Niger Tornadoes, Samson, in a game that lived up to it’s billing, produced a sensational assist for John Peter in the 80th minute to give Warriors their first win of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premiere League season.
