NPFL25: Don’t Be Carried Away – Ikorodu City Captain Cautions Teammates

Ikorodu City captain, Waliu Ojetoye has warned his teammates that it is important for them not to get carried away with the team’s recent performance, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Oga Boys continued with their unbeaten run in the NPFL to six matches after a 4-1 win over Akwa United in Lagos at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, last weekend.

Ojetoye believes the players need to keep working harder and be focused on the challenges ahead so that results can keep coming.

“We should not lose our head following the recent impressive run of form in the league,” Ojetoye stated in a post-match interview.

 “We need more concentration, and keep up with the momentum because there are still some teams at the top and some who are also aspiring to reach the top also.

 “Ikorodu City haven’t arrive as there's more work to be done in the course of the season.”

 Ikorodu City moved to third position on the NPFL table as they are preparing for an away match against Bayelsa United this weekend.
