Ahead of the 2024/2025 NPFL season, Plateau United Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut has said that his team is not fully ready for the upcoming season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. According to him, more fitness and coordination levels are needed for his side to prosecute the upcoming season. He said this to journalists following his side's 2-0 win over NNL side Barau FC in the first group game of the ongoing Gusau/ Ahlan Preseason Football Tournament in Jos. According to Mbwas, "My team has suffered so many setbacks in preparations notably during national protests, the team's training and build-ups was postponed and delayed." He added that delays in preparation can have far-reaching consequences, affecting everything from player performance to team morale. Mangut finished 5th last season with 53 goals and is looking for a better outcome in the NPFL 24/25 season.
