NSC ACT: Babangida Hails PFAN Induction On NSC Board

The President of Professional Footballers Association Of Nigeria (PFAN) Tijani Babangida MON has congratulated the entire comrades of the union and every Nigerian footballer on the historic achievement of the induction of PFAN into the NSC ACT, thus making PFAN a member of the National Sports Commission Board, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Quoting Babangida's words in a statement issued by PFAN's General Secretary, Emmanuel H. Babayaro MON.

"Indeed a great milestone worthy of celebration considering the huge sacrifices and pains it took to get here.

 "We are proud of our accomplishments, having played a major role in pushing the bill for the establishment of the NSC.

 "We also thank the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly Senator Obinna Ogba who was the originator of the BILL.

"While we understand that it is not yet uhuru as far as the Rights and Welfare of the Nigerian footballer is concerned, this milestone goes a long way in giving us the right pedestal towards achieving our goals."

Babangida is particularly proud of his team to the National Assembly especially Emmanuel Babayaro MON, Chief Barrister Rumson Baribote for the great job throughout from preparations to presentation.

PFAN is proud. While we celebrate, we must understand that this is the time for all PFAN members to close ranks in readiness for more sacrifices in pursuit of happiness for Nigerian Footballers.
