NSC Reveals When Super Falcons Will Get National Honour Certificates

The Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Malam Shehu Dikko, has revealed when members of Nigeria’s Super Falcons will receive their national honours certificates and rewards, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to Dikko, the Super Falcons players will be presented with their certificates and accompanying rewards when they assemble for their next national assignment.

This comes after members of the Super Eagles received their own certificates and rewards on Monday in Morocco, as they prepared for their opening group game against Tanzania at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

Speaking to respected sports journalist Osasu Obayiuwana, Dikko clarified that there is no cause for concern regarding the women’s team, stressing that the process will be completed once they are officially camped.

“The Super Falcons will receive their certificates and rewards the moment they gather for national duty,” Dikko said.

The assurance from the NSC boss is expected to allay fears among stakeholders, as the Super Falcons continue to remain one of Africa’s most successful national teams.
