NSC Steps In To Resolve Suspended Wrestler’s Case

The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Bukola Olopade, has intervened in the case of suspended wrestler, Daniel Amas, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Amas has been serving a suspension since 2023 over disciplinary issues.

Olopade addressed a group of youths who protested against the wrestler’s suspension and also facilitated a meeting between Amas and the Nigeria Wrestling Federation.

“We have been able to resolve it. The federation’s action was purely disciplinary because of his unruly conduct,” Olopade stated.

“A simple apology to the federation would have settled the matter, but I am already engaging with them, and I am confident it will be resolved,” he added.
