NUGA 2022: Impressive UNIPORT Win 26th NUGA In Lagos

University of Port Harcourt on Saturday clinched the 26th edition of the Nigeria University Games in Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.



UNIPORT from get go made their intentions and hardworks known winning medals from different sports a momentum they sustained till the end despite a close push by the host UNILAG at some points.



With a total of 61 Gold, 29 Silver and 30 Bronze medals UNIPORT ends the 2022 campaign with 120 medals the best by any participating school.


In the 2nd place is host UNILAG who accumulated a total of 86 medals (33 Gold, 34 Silver and 19 Bronze.)



With 38 medals (15 Gold, 10 Silver and 13 Bronze) NILE finishes 3rd.


UNILORIN and UNIBEN completes the top five 39 and 37 medals respectively.


It was a successful campaign hosted by the University of Lagos and all attention will now be shifted to Jos where the next edition will take place in 2024
