NWFL: Edo Queens Storm Asaba For Super 6

Ahead of the 2023 Nigeria Women's Football League Super 6, Edo Queens have arrived in Asaba, Delta State the venue of the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Benin-based club qualified for the competition alongside FC Robo Queens, Confluence Queens, Rivers Angels, Delta Queens and the defending champions Bayelsa Queens.

The Super Six competition earlier billed to hold from June 9 to 18, will now hold between June 6 and 11 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

Edo Queens touched down in Asaba on Sunday afternoon and they are looking ready for the battle.

June 12 remained yhe deadline set by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) for the submission of names of champions in each country for the WAFU Zone B playoffs ahead of the continental Champions League.
