NWFL: FC Robo's Adegbuyi Named Player Of The Season, Abia Angels' Oloko Wins Golden Glove

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced the individual award winners for the 2025/2026 season, recognizing outstanding performers following the conclusion of the campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Edo Queens emerged as champions of the 2025/2026 NWFL Premiership after securing a crucial draw against Bayelsa Queens to clinch the league title.

FC Robo Queens star Adegbuyi Oluwakemi was named the NWFL Player of the Season following her impressive performances throughout the campaign. 

The talented midfielder played a pivotal role for the Lagos-based club and was rewarded for her consistency and influence on the pitch.

Abia Angels and Super Falcons goalkeeper Fatima Oloko claimed the Golden Glove award as the league's best goalkeeper. 

Oloko's outstanding displays between the sticks were instrumental in her team's performances during the season.

Meanwhile, Rivers Angels received the Fair Play Award in recognition of their exemplary conduct and sportsmanship both on and off the field throughout the campaign.

The awards capped off another exciting NWFL season, celebrating players and teams that distinguished themselves through exceptional performances and professionalism.
