NWFL: Goals Galore as Ahudiyannem and Remo Stars Dominate

Ahudiyannem Queens delivered the most emphatic performance of the round, dismantling Confluence Queens 5–1 to send a resounding message in the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The rout began early when Orji Chinwendu opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Chizaram Onyenze doubled the advantage on 24 minutes before Agba Praise made it three just two minutes later. Although Aliko Peace briefly reduced the deficit for Confluence in the 29th minute, Tobi Ogenrugba restored Ahudiyannem’s three-goal cushion before halftime. Feranmi Odutade sealed the statement victory late on, capping a dominant display.

Remo Stars Ladies also underlined their title credentials with a commanding 4–0 triumph over Delta Queens. Daniella Fagbenro struck in the 16th minute and completed her brace deep into stoppage time. Kehinde Ajayi added a third in the 74th minute before Deborah Kehinde rounded off a polished attacking performance.

In Owerri, Heartland Queens overturned an early setback to defeat Bayelsa Queens 3–1. Olabiyi Alaba had fired Bayelsa ahead inside two minutes, but Umejiaku Oluebube equalised in the 27th minute before grabbing her second after the hour mark. An own goal by Agatha Thompson helped tilt the contest firmly in Heartland’s favour as they flipped the script in front of their home supporters.

Adamawa Queens claimed an impressive 2–0 away victory over Naija Ratels, inspired by a clinical brace from Ifeoma Damian. The forward struck just before halftime and again shortly after the restart to secure maximum points on the road.

Abia Angels secured a comfortable 2–0 win against Dannaz Ladies, courtesy of first-half pressure converted by Funmilayo Adefuye and a second-half strike from Onyedikachi Ekezie.

Edo Queens edged Ibom Angels 2–1 in a tightly contested encounter. Chioma Moses gave Edo an early lead before Juliet John restored parity in the second half. Mary Mamudu netted a late winner in the 86th minute to hand Edo the decisive edge.

Rivers Angels also impressed away from home, defeating Ekiti Queens 2–1. Early goals from Patience Otubo and Taiwo Ajibade proved crucial, rendering Miracle Ohaeri’s late effort a mere consolation.

Sunshine Queens recorded a narrow but important 1–0 victory over Nasarawa Amazons, with Victory Lucky’s 38th-minute strike proving decisive.

With commanding wins at both ends of the table and several standout individual performances, the latest round of fixtures further intensified the race for supremacy in the NWFL Premiership.
