The chairman of Ibom Angels Mr Moses Nana has apologised to the team sponsors and fans for the poor performance of the team in the first round of the Nigeria Women Football League, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The team is placed 7th on the table after recording 5 losses and 1 victory in 6 matches of the first round.

Nana further assured that five new players have been contacted to strengthen the team.

"We have contacted over five players as we seek to fortify the team ahead of the second round of the league.

We are sincerely sorry for the team's bad performance as some of the players couldn't live up to expectations

So, some new players are already on their way to join the camp team.

We hope to see a new improved side in the second round", he told the club media.
