The head coach of Ibom Angels Usen Ebuk has decided to open up on the reason he substituted 3 players under 10 minutes, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The Akwa Ibom-based club suffered a 2-3 home defeat to FC Robo Queens of Lagos in match day 4 of the league on Wednesday.

It was a shocking result for the club fans as the Lagos-based team is yet to record any points in the league before the game.

" It was a shocker even though I announced to them that today's game is like a cup final, playing against a team that is yet to get a point ever since the league started, they would come all out in your home to play you and hope to get a draw or win.

I told them to be proactive but I'm so surprised that from the first half my team was nowhere to be found, they failed to play to instructions that were the reason I substituted 3 players in 9 minutes and after that, the team stabilised.

I can see the challenges, of raising the team from the scratch, with no name and no experience but with time they will get to where they should be and I can assure the fans and Akwa Ibomites that the team will pick up the points we lost today", he said.
