NWFL: Robo Queens Seal Kit Sponsorship Deal

Top-flight Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, FC Robo Queens has sealed a kit sponsorship deal with manufacturing outfit, Wurasports Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Wurasports Africa announced this on their X handle (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

“LANDLADIES OF LAGOS In line with our commitment to the journey of kitting Africa’s Best legs, and supporting the future of the African Child, we are proud to welcome FC Robo Queens to the WuraSports Family, kitting all members of the first team #WuraBoots #FCRoboQueens."

Credited with the making of stars like Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade and so many others at FC Robo Queens, Coach Emmanuel Osahon is playing a huge role in African women’s football.

He spoke on the challenges faced by these girls and how WuraSports is taking a giant stride by partnering with FC Robo Queens, touching a lot of lives in the process.

“With the emergence of Wurasports, we are good to go. The sky is the limit. You know why I am saying this. Most things that are expensive will come now at a very affordable price. Good quality but affordable. It is not only FC Robo that will wear it. A lot of people will go to the market and purchase it since they know it is good, qualitative, and affordable.

“At this juncture, I commend Wurasports for this giant strides they have taken. I also want to thank them for giving back to African soil because it is not all about the partnership alone but the ability to look back and help the continent. The Lagos Landladies narrowly missed out on the NWFL Premiership Super Six on an inferior goal difference to former champions, Bayelsa Queens, and hope to jostle for a better finish when the 2024/2025 league campaign gets underway.
