NWFL: Why We Lost To Bayelsa Queens - Royal Queens FC Coach

The head coach of the Nigeria Women Football League side Royal Queens FC Kingsley Joseph has revealed the reason his team lost to Bayelsa Queens, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Uyo-based club suffered a 0-2 home defeat to the defending champions on Wednesday in match day 4 of the league.

The coach said during the post-match reactions that the two goals conceded demoralised his team and most of his players were relatively unknown.

"The time we played the game affected my team, we prepared for this game but the goals we conceded demoralised the team.

We put up a good fight but because they are female they got demoralised and I have to talk them not to give up.

We are a good side but we lost to a superior side, Nigeria and the West African champions.

We are young with unknown players but I knew as the league progresses we will be back on our feet", he said.
