NWFL 2025/2026 Season Gets Kick-Off Date
Sampson Adedeji The organizers of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) have announced that the 2025/2026 season will officially kick off on November 26, 2025, and run through April 22, 2026, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
A total of 20 clubs will participate in the new campaign, which promises intense competition as six teams will face relegation at the end of the season.
According to the schedule released, the league will observe a Christmas break after four match weeks of action and is set to resume on January 7, 2026.
The NWFL board has assured fans of an exciting season filled with quality football, improved officiating, and greater visibility for women’s football across the country.
