NWFL 24: Bayelsa Queens Still Work in Progress, Says Okara

By Precious Oham

Technical Adviser of Bayelsa Queens, Domo Okara has said that his team is still a work in progress in the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okara stated this after his side beat visiting Edo Queens 3-0 at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Ovom, Yenagoa in Match Week 7 of the NWFL.

Okara noted that the league is still open and not yet party time adding that the group has strong opponents to contend with.

“It’s not party time yet because the league is still open and you cannot take it away from Edo Queens, as they are one of the strongest contenders of this league this season as this is the group of death.

“We are improving in every game as you can see that today’s game was better than the last one we played, but it’s still work in progress as the players have not gotten to the level I want for them."

The NWFL is going on a two-week break to resume on the 31st of January, 2024.
