NWFL 25: Rivers Angels Unveil 14 New Players

Seven-time Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions, Rivers Angels have unveiled 14 new players for the 2024/2025 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Jewels of Rivers signed a total of 14 new players, including two goalkeepers, two defenders, four midfielders, and six attackers.
They include; Anderline Mgbechi - Goalkeeper; Fatima Oloko - Goalkeeper; Saka Sadiat - defender; Anike Azeez - defender; Taiwo Afolabi - Midfielder; Chidera Okenwa - Midfielder. Others include Yusuf Nana - Midfielder, Azeezat Oluwole - Midfielder, Blessing Ifitezue - Striker, Offor Mary Moses - Striker, Aweda Titilayo - Striker, Ajibade Taiwo - Striker, Nwachukwu Chisom - Striker and Aganmuyi Taiwo - Striker.
The 2024/2025 NWFL season will kick off on Wednesday, 15th January 2025.
The opening star match between defending champions Edo Queens and Abia Angels will take place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on the same day.
