NWFL Match Day 7 Roundup: Rivers Angels Pick Away Win As Remo Stars Wallop Ekiti Queens

After the Yuletide break action resumed in the Nigeria Women's Football League and it was a good outing for Rivers Angels as they secured an away win against FC Robo Queens, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Playing in Lagos, it was Ezekiel Motunrayo who put the away team ahead in the 7th minute before Salami Mary equalised in the 38th minute while Hassan netted the winning goal in the 67th minute.

Agama Zipereke scored from the spot as Naija Ratel beat Confluence Queens by a lone goal in Abuja.

In Asaba, Delta Queens defeated Sunshine Queens 3-1, Olabiyi Alaba scored the opening goal in the 16th minute, Chinaza Agor made it 2-0 in the 45th minute before Bolaji reduced the deficit in the 58th minute while Temitope Owoeye made it 3-1.

Azeezat Obadun's 88th-minute strike ensured that Royal Queens defeated Nasarawa Amazons 1-0.

Chinyere Igboamalu scored a hat trick in Bayelsa Queens' 3-0 win over Edo Queens.

Dannaz Ladies pipped Abia Angels 1-0 with Augustina scoring the only goal of the game.

In Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies walloped Ekiti Queens 4-1.

Hannah and Ibrahim gave the host 2 goal lead in the first half before Damilola Adeyanju made it 3-0 in the 76th minute and Adelabu Pascaline reduced the scoreline in the 81st minute while Adaobi Okah sealed the game with the 4th goal in the 90th minute.
