Nigeria Women Football League entered matchday 4 on Friday and it was Bayelsa Queens that was in the lips of everyone as they maintained their perfect run of form, BSNsports.com.ng report.


Monday Gift's 47th-minute goal helped Bayelsa Queen pipped Delta Queens by a lone goal


Hosts, Edo Queens secured their first victory in the competition with a 1-0 win against Naija Ratels FC. Esther Oyenezide's free-kick was enough to earn the team maximum points.


Defending champions, Rivers Angels continued their resurgence as they came back from a goal down to beat Nasarawa Amazons 2-1.


Mercy Idoko put Nasarawa ahead in the 39th minute before Rivers Angels bounced back in the second with two-goal in 6 minutes from Maryan Ezenagu and Kehinde Deborah.


The final rounds of games are slated for Sunday with the winner qualifying to represent Nigeria in the second edition of the Women's Champions League.
