The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Matchday action delivered drama, goals and tense finishes across match venues on Wednesday, with FC Robo Queens securing a crucial away victory, while Osun Babes and Remo Stars Ladies picked up important points on the road, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

Dannaz Ladies 3–2 Osun Babes FC

At the Legacy Pitch, Dannaz Ladies emerged victorious in a five-goal thriller against Osun Babes.

Sharon Shomuyiwa fired Osun Babes ahead in the 15th minute, but Fatima Sholaty levelled for Dannaz just three minutes later.

Korie Ulumma restored the lead for the hosts in the 79th minute, before Robiat Taofeeq equalised again five minutes from time.

Dannaz sealed maximum points late in the game as Ajoke Akinbo scored the winner in the 89th minute.

Goalless Draws

There were no goals between Naija Ratels and Ibom Angels in Abuja, while Ahudiyannem Queens and Remo Stars Ladies also settled for a 0–0 draw, with both sides unable to break each other down despite several attempts.

In Akure

Sunshine Queens 0–1 FC Robo Queens

FC Robo Queens left Akure with a massive victory courtesy of a 45th-minute strike from Marvellous Oladuni, whose low finish proved enough to separate the sides

Bayelsa Queens 3–2 Edo Queens

Bayelsa Queens bagged a big home win in another pulsating contest.

Rebecca Adegbemile put Edo Queens in front in the 23rd minute, but Kindness Ifeanyi equalised on the stroke of halftime.

Janet Akekoromowei made it 2–1 early in the second half before Adanna Nwachukwu pulled level again in the 85th minute.

In stoppage time, Blessing Illvieda struck the decisive winner to the delight of the home crowd.

Nasarawa Amazons 2–1 Delta Queens

Nora Davies gave Delta Queens an early 4th-minute lead, but Nasarawa Amazons turned the game around.

Shobowale equalised in the 40th minute, and Ayatsea completed the comeback just a minute after the restart.

Confluence Queens 2–2 Abia Angels
