NWFL Round-Up: Goals Galore In Match Day Seven As NWFL Goes On Break

Matchday seven of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, Premiership witnessed goals galore across the various centres, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rivers Angels dismantled visiting Adamawa Queens by six unreplied goals courtesy of Mary Moses' hattrick, Peace Effiong's brace and a strike by Titilayo Aweda.

In Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies demolished Nasarawa Amazons by four goals with a hattrick from Kafayat Bashiru and Bolaji Olamide while Delta Queens defeated Ibom Angels by a lone goal in Asaba.

Edo Queens got the better of Ekiti Queens with a 3-0 victory while Bayelsa Queens shocked Robo Queens with a 3-1 away win in Lagos.

Heartland Queens secured their first win of the season after beating fellow strugglers Confluence Queens 3-0 in Owerri, while Abia Angels defeated Dannaz Ladies 4-1 in front of their home fans in Lagos.

Naija Ratels beat Benue Queens 1-0. At the end of match day seven hostilities, the NWFL will take a short break and will resume with the second stanza on March 19th 2025.
