High-flying Rivers Angels secured the bragging rights in the South South derby over Delta Queens in match day four of the 2024/2025 NWFL Premiership, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Tosan Blankson, who led his new side to his former hunting ground at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba emerged 2-1 victors. 

The Jewels of Rivers staged a comeback after Favour Dagogo had given the hosts the lead before Patience Otubo equalized before the interval. 

Four minutes into the second half, Mary Moses scored what eventually became the winner as Rivers Angels coast home the maximum points. 

In Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies walloped Heartland Queens 4-1 via a brace from Bolaji Olamide, Kafayat Bashiru and Deborah Kehinde while Monica Matthew got the consolation for the visitors. 

Robo Queens and Naija Ratels shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 affair while Ibom Angels got the better of Benue Queens 2-1 in Uyo. 

Nasarawa Amazons ran out victorious over Ekiti Queens with a 2-0 scoreline while Mary Lucky's hattrick gave Abia Angels a comfortable 3-0 win over Confluence Queens in Umuahia.
