NWFL Roundup: Bayelsa Queens Thrash Naija Ratels, As Rivers Angels Hold Delta Queens

The defending champions of the Nigeria Women Football League Bayelsa Queens proved their mettle again on Wednesday as they thrashed Naija Ratels 3-0 in one of the Matchday 14 matches played on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

All the goals came in the first half through Chinyere Grace, Flourish Sebastine and Touta Evanick.

In another match, Rivers Angels held Delta Queens to a 1-1 draw. It was Damaris Favour that gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute before Okah Adaobi equalised in the 58th minute.

Ugobest Osuji's 37th-minute strike ensured that Heartland Queens defeated Royals Queens 1-0.

Meanwhile, it was goal galore in two match venues as Tobi Queens mauled Confluence Queens 4-0 while Nasarawa Amazons humiliated Adamawa Queens 5-0.
