NWFL Roundup: Robo, Nasarawa Amazon Pick Away Wins

FC Robo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons both picked away wins on Wednesday as actions resumed in match day 8 of the Nigeria Women Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dominance Odubanjo opened the scoring for Nasarawa against Abia Angels in the 35th minute before Josephine Mathias made it 2-0 in the 65 while Nmesoma Ibe reduced the tally for the host.

A brace from former Falconets attacker Esther Onyenezide ensured that FC Robo Queens defeated Adamawa Queens in Yola.

In Port-Harcourt, Aguadze Junita netted the opening goal for Rivers Angels but late minute minutes strike from Obadun Azezat ensured that game ended 1-1.

In Oshogbo, Osun Babes beat Heartland Queens 2-0 as Bayelsa Queens and Delta Queens settled fora 1-1 draw.
