NWFL Roundup: Robo Queens Pip Bayelsa United As Sunshines Queens Shoot Down Remo Stars Ladies

Home teams dictated the pace on Wednesday as actions went down in match day 6 of the Nigeria Women's Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The action of the day began in Lagos with FC Robo Queens beating Bayelsa United 2-1.

Rose Ekong put the away side ahead in the 22nd minute before Opeyemi Ajakaiye levelled up in the 50th while Folashade Ijamilusi netted the winning goal 9 minutes later.

Akwubo Obianuju scored the opening goal in the 36th minute and Chinaza Soroibe added the 2nd goal in the 47th minute while Isigbo Blessing 48th minute striker halved the deficit in Sunshine Queens' 2-1 win over Remo Stars Ladies.

Raheem Aishat's 18th-minute strike gave the Royal Queens a 1-0 win over Adamawa Queens.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers Angels defeated Ekiti Queens 2-0 with goals from Chiamaka Okwuchukwu and Olamide Adugbe 

Heartland Queens pipped Dannaz Ladies 2-1, Chimebere Opara scored the opening goal in the 46th minute before Ogunfunwa Omotoke equalised for Dannaz in the 76th minute while Chinwndu Orji 90th minute goal sealed the game for the host.

Esther Moses' lone strike gave Edo Queens maximum points against Delta Queens.

Nasarawa Amazon defeated Confluence Queens 1-0 with Ojiyivwe Kesina netting the only goal of the game in the 17th minute.
