NWFL Shifts Super 6 Date Again
Ibraheem Lateef
The organizer of Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL) has announced a shift in the kick-off date of this season's Super 6, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
The 6-day tournament which was earlier scheduled to hold between June 9-18 has now been shifted backward to 6-11 June, 2023. According to the NWFL, the change became inevitable to meet the exigencies of the June 12 deadline set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
All the participating teams are expected to arrive on or before the 5th of June.
The participating teams are Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, Confluence Queens, FC Robo, Rivers Angels, and host Delta Queens.
