Coach Christopher Danjuma has attributed his side's 1-0 nil loss to Bayelsa Queens to a momentary loss of concentration, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A late-minute strike from Itimi Mercy condemned Nasarawa Amazons to her first defeat at the ongoing NWFL Super Six Championship.

According to Danjuma, the Lafia Landladies will continue to fight till the very end as they still have three more games to make amends for the loss.

"My assessment of the game is that we lost the game which could happen to any team, just like every team, we all have lapses and we will continue to work to ensure that we correct our lapses.

"We got to the playoff to fight for the title so with three games left, we are still in contention for the NWFL crown."

Nasarawa Amazons will on match day 3 face Rivers Angels after the Jewels of Rivers defeated Edo Queens by two goals to one on match day 2 at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.
