NWFL Super Six: Victory Over Confluence Queens, Sweet Revenge For Edo Queens - Moses Aduku

By Precious Oham

Head Coach of Edo Queens, Moses Aduku has described the 5-1 bashing of Confluence Queens as a sweet revenge for the humiliation his team suffered from his opponents last season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Red-hot Edo Queens kicked off the NWFL 2023/24, Super Six on a scintillating note by thrashing Confluence Queens of Lokoja 5-1 in the opening match played today at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa.

Aduku said: "I give thanks to God for the victory, yes my girls worked very hard, we had opportunities we utilized them. Is not that we played badly in the last Super six, just that we didn't take our chances."

"Confluence is a good team, they are not a pushover side they got few chances but fail to covert them. It is a pay back time for us. We are here for serious business and is one game at a time. We are done with this, our attention is now on the next game.

"We are here to win, Government is waiting for us at home they have done so much for us, it is our turn to reciprocate their good gesture. For us we are in Bayelsa to win."
