NWFL24: Sunshine Queens Kick Off  Campaign Against Bayelsa Queens In Akure

Sunshine Queens will kick off the 2023/24 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) campaign against Bayelsa Queens at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Recall, that Sunshine Queens lost 0-3 to Bayelsa Queens on their last visit to the state two seasons ago.

However, players and coaches of the Sunshine Queens have said they are ready to pay Bayelsa Queens back in their coins.

They said they are well prepared for the game and expressed confidence that they will come out victorious in the encounter against the 2021/22 champions of the women's league.

The team’s media confirmed that the camp of the Akure Land Ladies is bubbling and players are in high spirits to get the job done.

Some players who spoke with the team’s media said if allowed to feature in the game, she would play out her heart and ensure the team came out victoriously.

The Management of the state-owned team, however, called on fans in the state to come out en mass to support the team.
