Winners of the 2021/22 Coupe de France, Nantes, have shown interest in Nigeria international Terem Moffi ahead of the 2022/23 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
According to Les Transferts, Nantes, currently having Moses Simon on their books want Moffi as replacement for their French forward, Randal Kolo Muani who’s on his way to Europa League winners, Eintracht Frankfurt. Muani will join the Bundesliga side on the 1st of July.
Moffi scored 8 goals and contributed four assists in 37 games and may have done enough to court attention from Nantes.
The 23-year-old Moffi has a contract with Lorient until June 2024, but he may be on his way out of the club when the transfer window opens, with Nantes reportedly seriously interested in securing his service.
Moffi, 23, will be willing to join the French Cup winners as it is considered an upward trajectory relative to his current level.
The attacker was mostly played as a winger under Christophe Pellisier last season and may also fancy Nantes’ participation in European football next season.
