Napoli Identify Four Players As Osimhen Replacement

Italia Serie A table toppers, SC Napoli are already putting house in order for Victor Osimhen’s departure by lining up a potential replacement for the Super Eagles striker.

Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli have lined for potential replacements should they lose Victor Osimhen next summer.

According to RudyGaletti.com, a Naples based tabloid on Monday morning, Napoli know it would be difficult to stop top teams from signing the player when the summer window reopens and they have stated working on his replacement.

Napoli is leading the Italian Serie A, thanks to the excellent form of the 23 year-old, who is top scorer in Serie A, with nine goals from eleven games.

The performances of the Nigerian striker have not gone unnoticed with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool credited with interests.

According to RudyGaletti.com, Napoli have a long list of potential replacements, should Osimhen move with his career.

Canadian striker Jonathan David, Chelsea’s forward Broja, RB Leipzig striker Noah Okafor, Randal Kolo Muani and Brazilian Santos forward Marcos Leonardo have been penciled down by Napoli’s Director Cristiano Giuntoli.

Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in 2020, signing a five-year contract. Napoli are run-away Serie A winners with 41 points in 15 games while AC Milan occupying the second position with 33 points. Juventus, Lazio and Inter Milan are placed 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively.
