Napoli Set To Jack Up Osimhen's 1.9Billion Naira Yearly Salary

Amid a transfer tussle from top European clubs for Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is set to have his 1.9 billion naira salary jacked up by Napoli, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Corriere del Mezzogiorno while discussing on Napoli transfer market and the future of red-hot Osimhen, whose a contract with Napoli runs until 2025, informed that the Neapolitan club will make its first renewal approach to the Nigerian ahead of the summer.

Currently, Osimhen receives a salary of four million euros a year (about #1, 912, 396, 478.40 naira), and Corriere del Mezzogiorno says Napoli will jack up his yearly earnings.

The Neapolitan club would protect itself from any offers that will arrive in the summer and so is thinking of re-discussing his contract.

Napoli could also decide to extend the agreement and then evaluate any offers for Osimhen, which, however, will have to be high.

According to reports, Napoli have already tested the ground for a possible renewal.
